Hexahedra is coming to Enclave 1, and I'll be giving stuff away
The games industry currently seems to consist entirely of things (games, studios, events) closing down. But there is one new thing starting that I'm excited about, the Enclave LAN. I love a long weekend of gaming (I'll be at StratLAN next week), and there are a fair few friends I only really catch up with at events like this.
Enclave is being run by some of the core team from (the sadly now defunct) Insomnia — some of you reading this will have first encountered Hexahedra at the Indie Expo there across three events, i68-i70. And those lovely folks have invited me to be the first indie developer to bring a game to Enclave!
I'll be running a mini puzzle hunt with prizes at the LAN (details to follow later), but in the run-up I'm also going to be running a contest with a prize draw open to all LAN ticket holders. The LAN itself is running over the Easter weekend in Milton Keynes, you can grab tickets here. Do give them your love and support, and I'll see you there!
The prize — a Hexahedra gaming mat and mug
The contest is straightforward to enter — before the start of the LAN you'll need to complete "Colour Sorting", the final level of the Hexahedra demo, which is available free on Steam. Send me a DM on Discord (you can join the Enclave server here, my username is Tarrenam) with a screenshot of the Level Complete screen, your Steam ID so I can verify the score, and your LAN seat number.
I'll draw a winner at random on the first full day of the event from the valid entries, and they'll get the lovely merch pictured above — a gaming mat (900mm by 400mm) and a mug featuring Octavius on one side and the Enclave logo on the other.
The nitty-gritty full terms and conditions can be found here.
Roll on Easter!
