Hexahedra is live!
IT IS DONE! Hexahedra went live on Steam yesterday. It felt like my body was about 90% adrenaline as the moment approached, but I've calmed down a bit since, and I actually slept pretty well last night for the first time in a few days.
I want to thank all the people who helped make Hexahedra possible — people who playtested the game and gave feedback, Kickstarter backers, the support from the Insomnia and Stratlan LANs (and the people who played the early verisons there)
There's a 10% launch discount running, so head over to Steam to grab your copy:
Post-launch
Now that Hexahedra is live I'll be spending a lot of time hanging out in Twitch streams as folks play the game. I've assembled a list of streams covering the launch discount window on Discord, so head there for the full list:
Someone has already uploaded a puzzle to the Steam Workshop, and it's a delightfully silly level that does something I'd never even thought of, which is making a Sourcer sometimes give you no cube at all. And it does that rather aggressively:
Inevitably, there'll be the odd bug here and there, so I'll also be keeping an eye on the Steam forums in case people are having problems. I've deliberately not planned anything apart from joining in with streams for a little while so that I've got time to fix anything that crops up. If you do spot any problems, let me know! The in-game bug reporter will also still be available.
After that? Well, I've got some things I'd like to prototype...
Thanks again for coming on this journey with me!
Chris
